Victor Pemberton was a British radio and television writer. He wrote television scripts for the BBC and ITV, including Doctor Who, Timeslip, Tightrope and The Adventures of Black Beauty.

Throughout his career, Pemberton wrote extensively for BBC Radio including the serials The Slide, Kill the Pharaoh, Shadow of the Pharaoh and Shadow of the Nile, all of which are presented separately in the Archive. Included here in this collection are seven of Pemberton’s BBC Radio dramas across a range of genres.
