Just finished the last of my McLevy stories. What a blast! Much thanks for making it available. Such a professional series, with great actors, directors and top notch sound production. Brian Cox is such a tremendous actor and he effortlessly inhabits this role and sounds like he is enjoying mixing it up with the rest of the spectacular cast.

But the stories! Who would think that a turn-of-the-century Scottish detective could carry so many different tales and characters without burning out and devolving into a run of repetetive, lifeless tales. Forget it. With writer  David Ashton at the controls, the series runs through a total of 50 episodes  over 12 series. And I challenge you to find a bum script in the bunch.

Enjoy your well-earned retirement, Scotsman. What a rewarding series!
