The comedy team of Frank Muir and Denis Norden began their radio careers in the late 1940s as scriptwriters on the legendary sketch series Take It From Here starring Jimmy Edwards, which became the BBC’s top-rated comedy show and ran for more than ten years.

They also wrote other tv and radio comedy series, both individually and jointly, during the 1950s and 1960s, before eventually changing careers from writing to performing, migrating to radio and television panel games, where, amongst other shows in which they appeared, they created and starred in My Word and My Music, both of which ran for decades.

Frank Muir Goes Into… was a long running solo success for Frank Muir on radio.
